Helicopter Flight Instruction
Positioning and Maintenance Flights
We can provide CPL(H) qualified pilots to support a range of commercial helicopter operations. Every assignment is matched with a pilot holding the appropriate licence, aircraft rating and experience for the proposed role.
All commercial flights must be conducted under the relevant operational approvals, permissions and insurance arrangements.
Our FI(H) qualified pilots can provide professional flight instruction through appropriately approved or declared training organisations.
Support can be arranged for individual training requirements or to provide additional instructor capacity during busy periods, staff shortages or longer term placements.
We can provide suitably qualified pilots to reposition helicopters between operating bases, maintenance facilities and new locations.
Pilot support may also be available for maintenance related flights where an appropriately rated and experienced pilot is required, subject to the aircraft’s airworthiness status and the applicable flight requirements.
Ground Examination Support
Where required, pilots holding a current GR(H) authorisation may be available to support helicopter theoretical knowledge examinations through an appropriately sponsored training organisation.
Nationwide Pilot Availability
Our helicopter pilot services are available across the United Kingdom. Pilots can travel to your operating base, maintenance facility or aircraft location, depending on availability and the requirements of the assignment. When contacting us, please provide the proposed location, aircraft model, dates and nature of the work. Any travel or accommodation requirements can then be discussed as part of the quotation.
UK CAA Qualified Helicopter Pilots
The pilot selected for each assignment will depend on the aircraft type, nature of the operation and the approvals required.
Our available qualifications and authorisations include:
CPL(H)
A Commercial Pilot Licence for Helicopters, allowing the holder to act as a helicopter pilot in qualifying commercial operations.
FI(H)
A Flight Instructor certificate for helicopters, allowing the holder to provide flight instruction within the privileges and limitations of their individual certificate.
GR(H)
A Ground Examiner authorisation for helicopters, allowing the holder to conduct specified theoretical knowledge examinations when appropriately authorised and sponsored.
Robinson and Bell Type Ratings
Our pilots hold various aircraft ratings across the Robinson and Bell helicopter ranges. Please provide the exact aircraft model when enquiring so that we can identify a suitably qualified pilot.
How to Arrange a Pilot
Provide the aircraft model, location, proposed dates, expected flight time and nature of the operation.

Flexible Hourly and Daily Rates

Hourly Pilot Support

For longer placements or assignments requiring a pilot for a full working day, we can provide a daily rate.
